WordPress Ping List

I just wanted to thank Vladimir Prelovac for his WordPress Ping List.
I have just added it to this blog and a couple of others – It’s a much more comprehensive list than the one I was using previously. The list should be entered into Writing Settings > Update Services in your WordPress admin.
When you post a new blog entry these services will be notified of your blog post increasing online exposure.

The list:

  1. The list is too big for me and chances r there that you end up pinging one site many times n getting banned b’coz multi pinger sites like pingomatic.com automatically ping many other sites in the list.

    • I appreciate your opinion but I’m running this list on a lot of sites – like 50+ and combined with WP-useronline I can see Google bot visiting my sites within seconds of posting new content – so I certainly have not been banned yet. Also check the original list at Vlad’s site – he has done a fair bit of testing and checking to make sure there are no overlaps with services.

  2. thanks for all the ping list

  3. do we need to register to each of this ping service? actually is a good idea if a lot of link know that we update our blog

  4. Hi Barang, You don’t need to register with the sites you are pinging 🙂

  5. Thanks for the list 🙂
